Dorino Livon is one of the most successful and recognized Friulan winemakers. His story has its roots in the family's passion and traditions: a true love for the homeland, Friuli, or better: the Collio and the Colli Orientali del Friuli, the far north-eastern corner of Italy and gateway to Eastern Europe. Dorino Livon acquired his first vineyards on the Collio hills in 1964, and slowly expanded his property establishing the Azienda Agricola Livon estate. The winery is now under the direction of the third generation of the family.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow in color with golden reflections. The bouquet is intense, recalling the leaves of a peach tree and nutmeg. On the palate it is rich, soft and has notes of bitter almond on the finish.
Production Notes
Made with 100% estate grown Friulano grapes (formerly known as Tocai Friulano) that are harvested and sorted by hand. Only 1,200 cases produced from this tiny single vineyard "MandiTocai" meaning, in the local dialect, "Bye, Bye, Tocai."
Food Pairing Notes
Drink with Italian starters, such as cured ham and charcuterie, It goes well with soups and pasta, salted fish, white meats in delicate, light sauces, and fresh soft cheeses. Longevity: 10-15 years. Serve at: 54°F.
